Galaxy Z Flip 3

According to information shared by The Elec, a reputable South Korean media outlet, Samsung has decided to downgrade the size of the battery built into its foldable smartphones . The Galaxy Z Flip 3, its next flip phone, should deal with a 3200 mAh battery, against 3300 mAh for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G .

Same story with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the foldable smartphone convertible into a tablet. The smartphone is said to be powered by a 4380 mAh battery . As is the case on previous iterations, Samsung should bet on a battery made up of two accumulators.

S-PEN STYLUS AND SMALLER SECONDARY DISPLAY FOR THE Z FOLD 3

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was however powered by a 4500 mAh battery, which is 200 mAh more. According to South Korean media, Samsung has decided to reduce the size of the battery after cutting the size of the external screen . The Z Fold 3 would be equipped with a smaller AMOLED display of just 5.4 inches , compared to 6.2 inches for its predecessor. Samsung is reportedly looking to improve the “portability” of the foldable. De facto, the energy consumed by the secondary screen would be less. Moreover, the external screen would keep the same definition, since it would be Full HD + (816 x 2260 pixels) in 21: 9 format.

On the other hand, the main screen would still be 7.5 inches , specifies the media. The Elec also confirms compatibility with the S-Pen stylus , until recently reserved for the Galaxy Note. Samsung would place a drawer for storing and recharging the accessory on the terminal. Under these conditions, it will come as no surprise that the South Korean leader wants to abandon the Galaxy Note range.
