Apparently, we'll soon see the introduction of new devices from the Microsoft Surface line. Twitter's microblogging user, cosyplanes, posted images of the new Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4. The source of the filtration appears to be FCC certification.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4 are on their way
The new Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4 models are expected to be introduced in mid-January 2021. Devices will receive intel-core processors of eleventh generation and Intel Xe graphics. In addition, there may be a version of the Surface Laptop 4 with AMD processor, according to rumors. It will be a proprietary Microsoft chip based on the AMD Ryzen 4000 series processor.
Microsoft previously designed a dedicated Ryzen Surface Edition processor for the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3. At the time, AMD and Microsoft claimed that the chip had optimized CPU and GPU performance. But, in fact, the processor struggled to perform basic tasks such as playing video in 4K resolution.
