APPLE VR

A few hours after the latest rumors about Apple's VR viewer , other rumors are added to those recently reported by experts such as Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo. In particular, Gurman himself returned to the technical specifications of the Cupertino headset , which would be decidedly impressive, especially as regards gaming.

In fact, in his latest newsletter, Gurman wrote that the headset could easily handle "high quality" VR games . The insider also went further, saying the headset would be great for gaming thanks to its fast chips and high-resolution display.

We still don't know what Apple's VR technology chipset will be, while we have clearer ideas about the display: some leaks in recent weeks, in fact, spoke of a screen with 8K resolution for each eye . It is not reasonable to think that video games for Apple VR will have such a high resolution, but such a display suggests a much more performing hardware than that of the VR viewers currently on the market.

Gurman also reiterated that the headset will hit shelves in 2022 , or at least " as early as 2022" , hinting that the launch window could easily slip to 2023. Some other leakers, however, question Gurman's words, and not they believe the device will be primarily intended for gaming.

The Bloomberg expert then explained that the VR headset could be followed by a second viewer, specialized in AR and called by the Apple Glass insiders , which, however, would still be at an early stage of development. At the moment, in fact, we only own a patent of Apple Glass , and we don't even know if this will result in a product for consumers or not.
