TikTok has released its latest transparency report, it can be seen that it is removing over 89.13 million videos from the platform in the second half of 2020.
The country that had the most deleted videos was the United States, although they said 83.3% were deleted before they appeared, so they did not generate any issues among users.

Although the number seems very large, this figure represents only 1% of all those videos uploaded to the platform. The reasons are very different, they are all related to the violation of several conditions detailed in the guidelines of the platform: security problems, violent content, illegal activities, suicides, etc.
Overall, around 92.4% of videos were deleted by TikTok before users reported them and 93.5% of them were deleted within 24 hours. Over 6.14 million accounts have been closed, while nearly 9.5 million spam accounts have been deleted as well as 5.23 million spam videos posted by these accounts. The creation of 173.25 million accounts by automated means was prevented.They also don't accept paid political ads, which has affected 3.5 million rejected ads.
The other countries with millions of deleted videos are Pakistan, Brazil and Russia, followed by Indonesia, which had 3.86 million deleted videos.
Russia is the country whose government has requested the most dismantling, with 135 requests, followed by Pakistan with 97 and Australia with 32.
The number of videos breaking the rules is down somewhat from the first half of 2020, when more than 104.54 million videos were deleted, with India and the United States leading the way.
