Huawei P50

We finally know the complete design of the Huawei P50. The latter has already been revealed with the help of several photos, it is now the turn of a video to complete the information. The Chinese firm should present the smartphone by the end of March, for a launch scheduled for April 17.

Last week, you were presented with the design of the standard version and the Pro version of the Huawei P50. The major change is made on the photo block on the back of the smartphone , which takes the shape of an egg never before seen on a flagship. There is a 6.3 ”screen for the Vanilla and 6.6” for the Pro , both with rounded edges and drilled to accommodate the selfie sensor . The P50 Pro +, meanwhile, is still stingy in information for the moment.

The leak would not have been complete without a 360 ° video of the renderings obtained. Also provided by OnLeaks, it shows the two phones from all angles , back and front. In this way, we have a better overview of the size of the rear photo unit, quite large compared to the rest of the plate. After all, we had already been warned that the Huawei P50 would carry the largest photo sensor designed for a smartphone . Sony has obviously kept its promise.

THE HUAWEI P50 WILL BE RELEASED ON APRIL 17, 2021, ITS TECHNICAL SHEET STILL TO BE DISCOVERED

If its sensor seems very impressive, we do not yet know anything more. No information appeared on its performance or its setup. The same goes for the rest of the technical sheet for the three models. According to some sources, the Pro model is equipped with a 120 Hz screen and is compatible with 66 W charging . The Vanilla model would be satisfied with a 90 Hz screen . Finally, we would find the presence of a Kirin 9000 SoC for the first, and a Kirin 9000e for the second.

All this is only guesswork for the moment, as long as Huawei does not confirm these elements during the official presentation of the device. The only certainty: the P50 will be the first smartphone on the market under HarmonyOS . After the American embargo, the firm had no other choice but to fall back on its own operating system . The latter will be presented in March by the manufacturer, for a launch scheduled for April 17 .
