Xiaomi , you know, is an extremely prolific manufacturer. Each year, he gives us several dozen smartphones, which does not always make it easier to read his catalog. In the Redmi Note 10 range alone , the brand has presented no less than four models. And this week, it is the turn of the Mi 10 range to welcome a new member.
Xiaomi has indeed confirmed its intention to present a Xiaomi Mi 10S, and therefore a revised version of the original model.The announcement will take place on March 10 in China, and it is expected to be widely followed by fans of the brand.
A Xiaomi Mi 10S expected on March 10
The Xiaomi Mi 10S will indeed not be a discount model. On the contrary, it will go much further than the Mi 10, both in terms of power and photos.
According to rumors and leaks in recent weeks, the Mi 10S should therefore be equipped with a 6.67-inch screen, a screen that we hope AMOLED that goes without saying. On the SoC side, Xiaomi would have turned to the Snapdragon 870. Presented at the beginning of the year , this chip succeeds the Snapdragon 865 and it is therefore positioned on the high end, without going as far as the Snapdragon 888.
As for RAM and storage, we should expect several variants. The battery, it would remain unchanged from one model to another and it would reach 4,680 mAh, with 33W fast charging.
A Snapdragon 870 and a more complete photo module?
The photographic aspect would be more successful. On the invitation published on Weibo, we can indeed see that the module placed at the back includes no less than four different sensors, with what also looks like a ToF sensor.We do not yet know the exact configuration of the room, but we knows that the main sensor should reach a definition of 108 million pixels.
On paper, this Xiaomi Mi 10S therefore looks very promising, even against a Xiaomi Mi 11 . If the latter benefits from a better chip, it is a little behind in the field of the photo. This Mi 10S, in addition to being less expensive, could therefore potentially offer a little more flexibility to photographers.
Note that the rumors also evoke a sale price of around 3,500 yuan, or € 451 by applying the conversion rates in force (and without taxes).
