Redmi Note 10

Xiaomi has just formalized the release date of the Redmi Note 10, its new mid-range smartphone. Or rather, this is the new family of mid-range devices, since the Chinese company is talking about Redmi Note 10 Series, so we can expect at least two.

The device will be presented in India on March 4, and according to Xiaomi's record, it is to be expected that some time later they will hold another international event to announce its arrival in other markets. Either way, on March 4th we'll finally meet the new Chinese midrange, but until the day comes, let's review what we know, or think we know, about them.

About the Redmi Note 10

Looking back, we see that the Redmi Note 9 series has been a very big family. There has been Redmi Note 9s, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9T, Redmi Note 9 Pro… Xiaomi has this eagerness to launch several devices of the same family with different functionalities and price ranges and, seeing that the Chinese firm speaks of Redmi Note Series 10, it would not be uncommon for it to repeat the same movement with its new mid-range.

That said, the truth is, not much is known about these new smartphonesLeaks suggest that there will be four models, a Standard and a Pro with their respective 5G versions, although that would be a particular decision, given that Xiaomi already has mid-range 5G devices at affordable prices and prices. 'a Redmi Note 10 5G with a low price could cannibalize the 4G version. It will be a matter of time before we find out.

The company, at the moment, does not have advanced specs, but it is expected to do so in the next few days. What they did was post a poll on Twitter asking their followers if they preferred a 120Hz IPS / LCD panel or an AMOLED panel for their Redmi Note 10. AMOLED technology won by a landslide and the tweet has been deleted, so maybe we have a clue as to what to expect in terms of the screen.

Finally, as they explain in Xataka Android, it wouldn't be strange for the new Xiaomi smartphones to ride the latest mid-range processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek. These include the Dimensity 800, Snapdragon 732G, and Snapdragon 750G, among others, as implemented in the rumored 4G and 5G models. Either way, we'll find out on March 4th.
