In 2020, Xiaomi launched many smartphones under the Mi 10 fold. The manufacturer notably marketed the Mi 10T Lite 5G , the Mi 10T , the Mi 10T Pro , or even the Mi 10 Lite. More recently, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 , a new generation of flagships. It was therefore expected that the Chinese brand had put an end to the range of Mi 10.

Against all expectations, Xiaomi is preparing a new Mi 10 , says Digital Chat Station, a very active informant on Sina Weibo, the Chinese social network. According to the leaker, the smartphone would be very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 10 announced in February 2020.

XIAOMI WILL RESURRECT THE MI 10 LINEUP

We would therefore find a 6.67-inch 90 Hz AMOLED screen, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, a 108 megapixel quadruple photo sensor, a 4780 mAh battery and a 50 W wired charge, and a wireless charge at 30 W. On the other hand, this revised Mi 10 would not be powered by the Snapdragon 865. Instead, we would find the new Snapdragon 870 chipset , a SoC less swift than the Snapdragon 888 Nevertheless, this processor offers a performance increase compared to the Snapdragon 865.

We imagine that Xiaomi is looking to capitalize on the success of the Mi 10 range by launching a new model powered by a more recent SoC. According to Digital Chat Station, it would also be an “anniversary” edition of the phone. Under these conditions, we can expect an announcement in February 2021, a year after the first Mi 10.
