This second offers data transmission speeds that are much faster when having a bandwidth that is different. Obviously to have this connectivity it is necessary to have a specific modem that is currently only present in the iPhone 12.
From Apple they want to eliminate this barrier that they imposed in 2020 with their iPhone 12 for this year. This has been clearly seen in an iPhone from the Taiwan supply chain showing how the Cupertino-based company has placed a large order for antennas for the iPhone 13 by adding a new supplier. If Apple is trying to nurture itself with a large number of antennas, it is quite clear that it is seeking to include the possibility of using mmWare 5G in all equipment regardless of which country they arrive in . In the end, when ordering these modems en masse, which can become more expensive, the increase can be absorbed by the company since greater production implies lower cost.
And it is that another of the limitations is also in the infrastructure and the teleoperators. In order to make use of mmWave 5G connectivity, Apple has reached different agreements with telemarketers in the United States to provide coverage.
