TikTok adds two new features to the web version

TikTok, the music-edited short video software, has a mobile version, but it does not include any of the features that exist in the app. For starters, you can see other users' profiles and access their content, but you can't add new content.

TikTok has, however, added two new additions to its version of the desktop that make it more complete. In the one side, people can also leave comments on videos posted by other persons directly.

They would have to be linked to their username and password in the web edition to do this, as anonymous comments are not enabled on TikTok.

On the other hand, you will still get updates on the site by communicating with your account, something that was not possible until now. In this way, when they get a new "like" or when someone has begun to track them, they will be able to tell. TikTok has announced this on its official account for Twitter creators:

You can also see the trending issues on the social network from the online edition of TikTok, and the news that has been most shared. Thus, TikTok is developing its web platform in the same manner as Instagram did in its day, introducing new functionality, including comments and updates, to the web version steadily. However, as it happens with TikTok, it does not integrate all the features of the software.

Improving TikTok's web version would allow users to spend more time on the site by opening up and consulting the web version while doing other computer activities.

TikTok has also compiled a rundown of its 2020 year and has posted, among other items, the most innovative ad strategies in Spain, as well as the most viral 2020 videos and the most used songs.
