For the first time, Razer's Blade range seems to be infidelity to Intel and its Core processors .The information is not yet official and therefore must be taken with the usual precautions. However, _rogame is a regular at solid rumors, and on Twitter he points out that Razer will be looking to AMD for an upcoming line of laptops .
Razer Laptops: Ryzen 9 5900HX and RTX 3060
Currently, Razer laptops fall into three categories. There is the Blade Stealth 13 and its 13.3 inch diagonal. More muscular, we find the Blade 15 and their two variants, base and advanced . Finally, the top of the basket is made up of the Blade Pro and their 17-inch panel. All are designed around Intel CPUs.
On the other hand, it is more precise as to the AMD chip that would interest Razer: it would therefore be the Ryzen 9 5900HX, a model with 8 cores / 16 threads with a base operating frequency of 3.3 GHz (boost up to at 4.6 GHz) and 20MB of combined cache.
A processor that is already found on some laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551QS and the Asus ROG Strix G15 G513QR. While the first is equipped with an RTX 3080 , the second is content with an RTX 3070 . Still according to _rogame, Razer for its part would have set its sights on less beefy, the RTX 3060 .
