 Intel has now released a new version of its graphics driver for Windows 10 . The new version number is 27.20.100.9316, the update brings a number of improvements, but also contains known problems.

After the initial update for graphics drivers for the Windows 10 October 2020 update, Intel has now released another important update. The update is available for all Windows 10 versions from 1709 and newer and can be obtained immediately. The new Windows 10 DCH drivers have the version number 27.20.100.9316 . Intel Core processors from the eleventh to the sixth generation are supported. You can now get the new driver from us in the download area . 

The driver receives bug fixes including:

  • Fixes the crash when starting Outriders on Intel Iris Xe Max graphics cards
  • Fixed a performance bottleneck in the 3DMark Mesh Shader feature test (Mesh Shader off) on Intel Iris Xe and Xe-Max graphics
  • Stability fixes for DaVinci Resolve on Intel Iris Xe Max graphics
  • Fixes intermittent crash or hang in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (DX11) and Cyberpunk 2077 (DX12) when starting the games on Intel Iris Xe and Xe Max graphics cards
  • Fixes the intermittent crash or hang in Battlefield 4 when changing the anti-aliasing deferred settings on the Intel Iris Xe graphics card
  • Fixes the intermittent crash or hang in Hunt: Showdown, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (DX12)
  • Fixes the black screen in Dirt Rally when playing the game with ALT + ENTER on Intel Iris Xe graphics
  • Fixes minor graphics anomalies in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (DX12) when loading the game in cutscenes and while playing on Intel Iris Xe graphics cards
  • Fixes minor graphics anomalies while playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Intel Iris Xe and Xe Max graphics
  • Fixes corruptions or crashes in Talos Principle (Vulkan) after changing the game settings on the Intel Iris Xe Max graphics card
  • Fixes the crash when starting a new game in Crysis: Remastered on Intel CoreTM processors of the 10th generation with Intel Iris Plus graphics

known problems

But there are also some known problems, such as intermittent crashes or hangs, which have been observed in connection with Dirt 5 and Dark Souls III, among others. There are also these problems with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Total War Warhammer 2. There are also general display problems with some resolution settings in connection with Intel Iris graphics. The driver requires at least Windows 10 Version 1709 aka Fall Creators Update, as well as Intel Core processors of the sixth generation or newer.
