Google changes Google My Business analytics
Google My Business is making changes to its statistics section , offering new views and simplified reports to analyze the performance of a Google My Business profile .

he changes to the "Statistics" section have already started to be implemented, however it will take a few months for them to be fully applied, as new reports will be activated little by little. For now, there is no official information on how long it will take for the new reports to be fully active.

At the moment, when a user accesses the "Statistics" section, which can be found on the left sidebar of the Google My Business profile, a message is displayed at the top of the screen with the message: "Your data is going to move » .

With this new implementation, it will be possible to obtain more main metrics directly from the company profile, starting with the interactions that inform the user about the frequency with which other users contact the company or access the profile. In this sense, as reported by Google, once this new report is fully implemented, the previous versions of the metrics will be removed from the application.

These new reports can be created using Google My Business search data or Google MapsAt the moment, the historical data for the last six months is accessible. Although it is also possible to choose the performance period that you want to consult. These metrics are updated daily.

Once this change is implemented, Google plans to add more metrics and detailed reports on searches and the number of users accessing the profile, although again, the Redmond company has not offered official information on when the new reports will be implemented.
