Unless a possible new postponement, Gran Turismo 7 will be delivered in early March 2022. Sony does not however intend to do without these few remaining months of 2021 for the promotion of its title. A short video has just been unveiled featuring Kazunori Yamauchi, historical figure of the series and CEO of Polyphony Digital.
Over 400 vehicles in Gran Turismo 7, not a series record
Mr. Yamauchi continues by revealing the number, albeit relatively approximate, of vehicles called to appear in Gran Turismo 7 :
“Gran Turismo 7 offers state-of-the-art vehicle modeling offered by the PS5. But what makes GT7 special isn't just the high level of realism. It is also the phenomenal number of vehicles it contains. There are over 400 cars in the game. Some of the most fascinating models in automotive history are available in GT7. ”
In view of the garages of the previous episodes, if only that of Gran Turismo 6 and its more than one thousand cars, the 400 or so cars of Gran Turismo 7 may appear to be few in number. However, this would exclude more complex technologies to master and an even more developed attention to detail. However, it remains to be seen how many vehicles will have a more elaborate interior than the others.
Gran Turismo 7 is expected for March 4, 2022 on PlayStation 4 and 5. It should be noted that the trailer does not present any cover for one or the other of these versions.
