Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

As of February 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be free to play for a week on PC, PS4 / PS5 and Xbox One / Series O and Series X . The release does not specify whether an active PS Plus / Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to enjoy it.

A week to get a feel for Black Ops Cold War

The free trial period will run from February 25 to March 4 on the aforementioned platforms. But there will be no question of accessing all of the content of the game released at the end of last year.

In this case, newcomers will be able to experience the all-new Contagion mode, which takes place in the largest map ever designed for zombies mode. PlayStation gamers will also get exclusive Rampage Mode - a duo zombie mode.

On the classic multiplayer side, the brand new Apocalypse map will be honored via a selection of game modes (Team Deathmatch, Confirmed Elimination, Domination, Strategic Point). It will also be possible to engage in Skirmishes (two-on-two clashes), Confrontations (3v3 on traditional modes), to get lost in the new version of Nuketown in a dedicated mode or to discover the Dirty Bomb mode which pits four teams of 10 players against each other on a large map.

To motivate new hires to check out, Activision is offering them a Double XP and Double XP Weapon Pass for the entire trial period. The progression will be kept if you decide to treat yourself to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War during the week.
