Despite the fact that this time the annual CES 2021 exhibition is held online, a tech giant like LG does not deviate from its principles, and even this time uses the aforementioned exhibition to achieve its goal, which is advertising. the imminent launch of an updated version of its series of extremely thin and light Gram laptops. Thus, in 2021, the company, as she says, is going to release laptops, which, in turn, are certified for the Intel Evo platform, within which, although basic, but still high battery life, the presence of fast charging technology, and quick exit from sleep mode.
The new laptops also feature 16:10 aspect ratio screens, which in turn makes them slightly larger than last year's 17-inch models. Well, what can be considered one of the nicest features is the new design, thanks to which the bezel around the display remains thin on all four sides. At CES 2021, the company has already presented five new laptops at once, all of which belong to the Gram line. We are talking about LG Gram 17Z90P, LG Gram 16Z90P, LG Gram 14Z90P, LG Gram 2-in-1 16T90P, as well as LG Gram 2-in-1 14T90P. And in general, this time the situation is quite similar to the situation that took place last year.
That is, the 16- and 17-inch models are equipped with a fairly voluminous 80 Wh battery, which, according to LG, can provide up to 19.5 hours of operation without the need to connect to a charger.
The weight of these models varies from 997 grams to 1.35 kilograms. The common feature is that all new Gram laptops without exception use Intel 11th generation processors with integrated Iris graphics. Also, these laptops are capable of boasting the amount of RAM, the maximum value of which can be 16 gigabytes.
An undeniable advantage is also the fact that all of the above laptops have fingerprint scanners, while the two Gram 2-in-1 models have support for the Wacom AES 2.0 stylus, which creative people will have to fully appreciate.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no data regarding the price and release date of the devices, however, in any case, it is encouraging that we will be able to see them in detail and from all sides during the upcoming virtual technical event, which will be held already at next week.
