Clubhouse may be very successful around the world, the social network is currently only accessible by invitation, and on iOS. It did not take more to push the competition to bet on similar features. After Facebook , Twitter or even Discord , which recently announced their desire to create a new feature of voice rooms, it's Telegram's turn to get started.

The instant messaging application indeed announced yesterday the integration of Voice Chats 2.0, a tool focusing on solutions very similar to those offered by Clubhouse.

If Clubhouse has the merit of having restored its letters of nobility to voice chats, the platform may not last long in the face of fierce competition, and already well established. For now, the social network is in fact only available on iOS , and only by invitation (each registered member receives two invitations, and so on).

Despite the growing popularity of Clubhouse, and the presence of some big names across the Atlantic (Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk or Oprah Winfrey for example), Telegram has the undeniable advantage of being accessible to everyone, both on iOS and Android. . In addition, the social network experienced a real resurgence of interest at the time of theWhatsApp T & C changes a few months ago. Worried about their privacy, many users have in fact abandoned the Facebook subsidiary to turn to more secure solutions.
